Let's talk about yoga.
Roberta Roll and Sarah Wallace will guide you through your daily practices.

Roberta is a gifted, caring yoga and somatic movement teacher since 1982. Certified in Yoga and Body-Mind Centering®, she's a registered somatic movement therapist and educator. Bringing backgrounds in dance, sports training, yoga, singing, and bodywork including Polarity and craniosacral therapy, Roberta helps people find their creative spark, calm center, and freedom of movement in their lives.

Sarah is a mind-body professional, a vibrant yoga teacher with 30+ years of teaching yoga and fitness across three continents. Owner of Amenia Yoga, she specializes in hatha, powerful sequencing, Wisdom Yoga for mature bodies, and strength training based on the latest research. Certified in Yoga for Osteoporosis, Accessible Yoga, breath work, and meditation, Sarah leads yoga and cultural retreats in amazing places to soothe the body, balance the mind, and awaken the soul!

Roberta and Sarah, together with you,  will create a magical retreat with memories to last a lifetime.  Most morning practices start at 7:30am and the afternoon ones at 5:00pm. We will also have evening, after dinner activities most nights.  On excursion days, the schedule changes to accommodate transportation and length of excursion.  Of course, on a beach day, we have beach yoga.

We're staying at Agricola Samadhi, an agriturismo, (farm tourism), it's a renovated charming resort and organic farmhouse. The only sounds you'll hear are the wind, the chirping of birds and the sound of crickets and cicadas. The intrinsic quality of the place and the decisions made in renovating the farmhouse have made this a perfect place for our relaxing yoga retreat. Our yoga Shala, Santosha, is where we'll have our daily practices. it's equipped with mats, blocks and chairs - everything we need for our practice.

You'll be happy to know that we will be living eco-friendly during our stay. The agriturismo has a ‘no impact’ lifestyle because they recycle and reuse objects and materials in creative and artistic ways. They favor buying natural environmentally friendly materials, for which the origin and creation can be traced, respecting the worker and the environment. They avoid and discourage single-use plastic items and bottles

The single, double, and triple rooms are cozy and tastefully and simply furnished, providing everything necessary to make our guests feel at home, cared for by an efficient and discreet staff in a joyful and pleasant atmosphere. The rooms have air conditioning making it possible to be super comfortable: air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter.

Let's talk about the food.

Of course, we're in Italy! Food is Harmony. The meals are prepared mainly with the ingredients of their gardens, and with products of local producers to offer maximum freshness and bioavailability.

At our retreat, food embodies the essence of yoga - nourishing, gentle, and deeply respectful of all life. Every dish is crafted from garden-to-table ingredients that travel only a few steps from earth to kitchen, honoring the natural cycle of life and our shared planet. The meals they prepare for us do not harm or exploit any creature, aiming for health that leaves no residue of suffering—only joy, lightness, and positive energy. Each meal is prepared with care and love, in harmony with Mother Earth, so we can truly feel the positive vibrations of what we eat. It's important to know that our nourishment supports a more compassionate, sustainable future.

And for those who enjoy meat or fish, there will be opportunities to savor local specialties together when we eat out in nearby towns, so nothing feels restrictive—only intentional and aligned.

What about the Spa?

We will have a Spa day during the week. Their spa is small but you can enjoy the health benefits of hydromassage, Turkish Bath, Sauna Steam bath HAMMAM, Massage rooms, and showers with led color lighting.

Pamper yourself with personalized treatments and wellness rituals, performed by highly specialized professionals

Let's talk about excursions.

We will visit some amazing towns!

Private transportation will bring us to the Valle d'Itria which will captivate with its iconic trulli houses dotting olive groves and limestone hills.  Cisternino, with winding alleys and bombette grills; Locorotondo, a circular village with flowered balconies and Ostuni, a white city glowing over the Adriatic Sea.  All cute towns, all unique on the heel of Italy's boot.

Two other excursions will take us from Zollino's train station to Lecce and Otranto. We're a ten to fifteen minute walk from our place to Zollino!  The town is also perfect for a morning cappuccino with brioche or an evening aperitivo.  From Zollino, we depart for Lecce, Puglia's baroque gem carved in golden stone.  And to Otranto, on another day where the morning light and turquoise sea will greet us when we arrive.

Let's talk about prices and getting there.

From New York, there are no direct flights to Brindisi, but there are direct flights to Bari, depending on the season. There are airport transfers to our retreat, with a supplemental charge from Bari, because it's much farther away.
