HATHA YOGA CLASSES
In all our classes we're all about balance, breath, and building the best version of you! In most classes we harmonize body and mind through dynamic poses, creative sequencing, mindful breathing, and a sprinkle of strength and stamina work. With each class, you'll feel yourself growing stronger, more resilient, and infinitely more flexible. It's also important to embrace challenges, because that's how we grow. We thrive on pushing boundaries and exploring new horizons. It's through facing challenges head-on that we discover the depths of our strength, resilience, and authenticity. So, dare to step out of your comfort zone and onto the mat, where you can unwind and rejuvenate to find inner peace, balance, and harmony through movement and breath.
In our classes, we use Tibetan singing bowls and Crystal Chakra bowls to restore balance and harmony in your body, mind, and soul. We are innovative and combine low-impact isometric moves, flows with breath, periods of complete awareness of muscle movement, and mind-focusing breathwork for relaxation, stress reduction, and improving your sleep.
WISDOM YOGA
In these classes, balance and posture take center stage, but the right amount of challenge is included to keep things engaging and dynamic. Everyone can participate fully and safely because we use chairs for certain poses and balancing acts. Focusing on stability and alignment, we guide students through sequences designed to enhance strength, flexibility, and coordination. We also prioritize our bone health right alongside every other aspect of our well-being. Each class offers something new with chances to explore and grow to improve physical well-being, confidence, and inner harmony. After each session, we gather for warm, organic, herbal tea, creating a space for community and connection to flourish. Wisdom yoga classes are more than just yoga classes; from the minute you walk in the door until you leave, each session is a holistic experience that nourishes both body and soul, leaving participants feeling supported, rejuvenated, and part of something special.
WISE & STRONG & MONDAY MUSCLES
As you enter the realm of "Wise & Strong" you feel age is just a number and strength knows no bounds! Our classes are tailored for the wise souls navigating the journey of aging gracefully with strength and vitality. We use the power of bodyweight and resistance bands to reclaim the muscle we naturally lose as we age. Say goodbye to sarcopenia as we sculpt and tone, redefining what it means to thrive at every stage of life. This isn't the conventional way of getting fit with three times a week at the gym with a personal trainer. We meet once per week, because muscles need time to grow and remodel to become stronger. This is usually about 7 days! With every rep, we honor the wisdom of our bodies, as we improve muscular endurance, bone density, and promote overall well-being. With a focus on proper form and slow repetitions, we ensure that every participant feels confident and capable, regardless of fitness level or previous experience. It's truly remarkable how swiftly the body responds to the call for strength. Participants often find themselves pleasantly surprised by the rapid changes they experience. Whether it's the newfound ease in everyday movements or the ability to tackle challenges with newfound vigor, the journey to strength is filled with amazing surprises almost every week. Witnessing these changes unfold is not just motivating; it's a testament to the incredible potential that lies within each and every one of us.
VINYASA SLOW ZEN FLOW
In this class, the rhythm of breath guides the journey and poses unfold with grace and mindfulness. In this gentle yet invigorating practice, we combine the fluidity of Vinyasa with the introspective depth of longer pose holds, creating a space for exploration, proprioception and mindfulness/presence.
